Pandic is a card game that can be played in Znaxx Casino in PanRi Free Roam. It can be played against NPCs or against party members.
Pre-Game
- Find a Pandic table on the second floor of Znaxx Casino. Interact with the PVP or NPC table to sit.
- A HUD is attached and you must pick two decks to play with. New players have only tentacles and demons. Unlocking more decks lets you click the round buttons to change the decks that you use. Every deck has 8 cards. So your combined deck will have 16 cards that are cycled through the game.
- Press Play to start.
- Click the question mark on the HUD for more instructions.
Playing Cards
- Players take turn playing cards. The goal is to reduce enemy HP to 0. HP is the heart shaped number.
- Your cards are presented on top of your HUD.
- You can hold max 6 cards in your hand.
- The blue number on every card is the mana cost to play the card. You can see mana on the table. It is the blue circle next to the HP.
- To get mana you must sacrifice cards and/or use the charge power.
- Sacrifice a card by pressing the Sacrifice button on the table. Cards that can be sacrificed will get a purple border. Click one to sacrifice that card. Click Sacrifice again to cancel. The purple number on a card shows how much mana you get for sacrificing it. At the time of writing all cards give 3 mana when they are sacrificed.
- A sacrificed card is put in your cooldown pile and will be shuffled back into your draw pile when your draw pile is empty. You can never run out of cards.
- You have two sacrifices every turn unless changed by a card effect.
- Some cards will require a target. Viable targets will have a white border on the table.
Minions
- If a card has a heart and swords icons on them. Then they are minions.
- Minions get placed on the board and can be used to attack every turn. Minions cannot attack on the turn that they are summoned unless it has charge.
- Minions that can attack have a white border on your turn.
- The heart icon is a minion's HP. When reduced to 0 the minions is put into your discard pile.
- If the heart icon is made of metal then the card has Taunt. Minions must attack taunt cards first before they can attack other cards or the player.
- You can sacrifice minions on the board.
Powers
- You can use one power every turn. They are the round icons on the side of the table.
- All players have 3 default powers: Charge, Singe and Barter. And one power for each of their selected decks.
- Charge gives you 2 mana. Singe does 1 damage. Barter costs 2 sacrifice and gives you one card.
Arousal
- The pink number next to the heart is arousal.
- While a player has 6 arousal (max) they will take 1 more damage from all attacks.
- A fully aroused player will lose all of their arousal at the start of their turn.
Strategies for new players
- Card advantage is important in this game. Some times it is better to use Barter than playing a card if you have only 2 or 3 cards on your hand.
- Try to play combos and think ahead. Quadropus can be killed with a single singe before the opponent has to sacrifice. But if you play it on the same turn as Befoul then they cannot singe next turn. Giving Hand a lot of HP with siphon can make it very strong.
- Play against the goblin NPC and tell him to enable banter. He will give helpful tips while playing.
